Holiday time!

I am with my family in Cornwall for a few days, in the south-west part of England. If I look through the window of the caravan I can see the sea - and lots of rain! I have a portable Sony receiver here, and a small indoor loop:

Observations

  • As you can see from the stations listed, the signals have been coming in very well with the small setup at this side
  • Today's biggest surprise was hearing the voice of Relmus Radio on the microphone of Radio Barones, together with Radio Batavier. Also in the studio was the operator of Radio Napoleon - a pirate party!
  • It was an evening with plenty of big power on the band, with supreme signals from Orban, Spanningzoeker, Calipso and Barcelona, as well as Baro
  • Interesting to hear Kruik with a programme as he is usually heard qsoing
  • Grutte Pier was doing very well with a strong signal and good modulation
